- I have a GVP A1230 Turbo (40Mhz 68030 (my FPU socket is sadly empty))
- with 4M Ram in one simm slot and 1M in the other, my squirrel works
- fine without complaint (both under 3.0 and now under ADos 3.1) I have a
- cheap Chinon 2X CDROM on the SCSI. Somehow GVP gets > 4M (I have 5, see
- above) to Autoconfigure without additional software hacks etc. My
- CDROM has not been flakey.

- Shapeshifter seems to be able to get about 4.5 M of contiguous ram
- so I take this as an indication that GVP was pretty clever with their
- memory configuration, since this crosses the mystical 4M ram boundary.
