  29. I have a GVP A1230 Turbo (40Mhz 68030 (my FPU socket is sadly empty))
  30. with 4M Ram in one simm slot and 1M in the other, my squirrel works
  31. fine without complaint (both under 3.0 and now under ADos 3.1) I have a
  32. cheap Chinon 2X CDROM on the SCSI. Somehow GVP gets > 4M (I have 5, see
  33. above) to Autoconfigure without additional software hacks etc.  My
  34. CDROM has not been flakey.

  36. Shapeshifter seems to be able to get about 4.5 M of contiguous ram
  37. so I take this as an indication that GVP was pretty clever with their
  38. memory configuration, since this crosses the mystical 4M ram boundary.
